Code of Conduct

CODE OF CONDUCT

Dollahan Elementary School firmly believes that learning can best take place in an orderly environment and that students can best learn individual and collective responsibility and gain maturity if they are provided opportunities in which to be proactive by choosing their actions, attitudes, and moods within the school setting.  

This Code of Conduct is intended to communicate expectations regarding acceptable conduct in school in order to provide a positive learning environment for all students.

Dollahan Elementary School uses a demerit system as the basis for its disciplinary action and policy.  Different actions may result in a certain number of demerits that lead to a graduated system of disciplinary actions.  It is impossible to list or categorize all types of disciplinary violations, thus, the administration reserves the right of disciplinary assignments as the case so determines. Rules and regulations apply in school, on school property, while in route to or from school, and at any and all school sponsored activities.
